"Went this Saturday, best Italian we've had in a long time! Awesome veal,
tender Chicken Margherita. Everything was delicious, fresh, and huge
portions. Not to mention very reasonable prices. What impressed us even
more was the real grated cheese on the table, not the processed shaker
cheese most restaurants use. Was our first time, were were very pleased and will certainly go again and again!"

"Please let Charlie know, the Antipasto Salad was a hit, and we had plenty to fill the crowd. The rolls are wonderful and I will make sandwiches with the leftovers this week!"

"Mama's Italian is a family owned resturant, you do not see many of these anymore. They have been in Dracut for about 20 years. The food and the portions are great. They have the freshest fish and salads around. Their prices can not be beat. Their slogan is: "When you are hungry, come to Mama's" They have proven this to be true time and again. The service is friendly and consistent, the waitstaff have all been there for years. It is like coming home, they know what you want, and how you want it!
Please do not be afraid to bring the children, this is a family restaurant, with a very comfortable dining room. Booths and tables available."

"Better than what my Mama used to make! For terrific, inexpensive Italian and American food, check out Mama's. Try the chicken/broccoli/ziti, it's the best anywhere. And I've tried it in tons of places. My kids love the broasted chicken meal. It's pressure cooked, not deep fried, so even my health conscious hubby loves it. There's also a tasty greek salad w/chicken that I like for lunch.
Pizza, lasagna and the ever changing daily specials make Mama's a top choice for a great meal in Dracut. Check it out."

"My absolute favorite place for chicken parm! Interesting decor (e.g., interesting colors), good service, good value. If you go at lunch, you get a hearty dinner-sized portion at a signicantly lesser price (so there's enough food left over for dinner!). Love this place. Just wish it was easier for me to get to!"

"I lived in the Dracut Area for a while and Mama's was a favorite! The best cheese Raviolis! They are big and mouthwatering! The waitresses are awesome, everyone is very down-to-earth and just like family!"

"I've been going to Mama's since college. Even though it's not on a busy street, it seems everyone knows where it is. It's not uncommon to see lines of people picking up huge bags for take-out - always a good sign. I was shocked when I saw some bad reviews having been my favorite restaurant for so many years, so here's a quick break down of what to get to ensure a good experience: Mama's is known for three main things: * Chicken broccoli saute - with or without mushrooms * Broasted chicken used in their chicken parm sub * Pizza * Sauce! The chicken broccoli saute is a cheesy garlic butter sauce. The sauce is good and the broccoli is nice and tender with hunks of chicken. The chicken in the parm sub is broasted - not just fried which gives it a much better flavor and makes it more tender. The other key item is the meat sauce. This is the star of the show which I'll talk more about later. The pizza here is not the usual pan-pizza you get at every pizza place tucked in every corner two feet away from each other. The dough is of better quality and of course has much better sauce.:) OK, what's the deal with the sauce? Why is it so good? There are a few basic rules to having a good meat sauce according to my standards which Mama's accomplishes perfectly: * Thick - the sauce should coat the pasta * No tomato chunks - this is not salsa after all * No cartilage-ridden sausage - just hamburg as far as I can tell * Not just "flavored" - you get to see actual hamburg. After trying to find a good bottled sauce at the market - I'm lazy, I gave up and now go to Mama's to pick up a quart every time I run out."
